Medication and pregnancy

It is important to know which drugs a pregnant women has been administered, because it possible that they may cause:

• Genetic disorders
• Addictions or other fetal problems

Some drugs are relatively safe to use during pregnancy, especially when there are diseases that the pregnant woman may have which will be much more harmful to her baby than the drugs that she is using to treat these conditions.

Therefore, when we meet we will discuss about the drugs that you may have been administered for chronic or transient conditions, in order for you to find out which ones are safe, or what preparations can be used to replace them, without you having to quit the therapy on your own.
