For those HPV types without any symptoms, we do:
1. Pap-Test or Thin-Prep
Early detection of pre-cancerous lesions is currently available only for cervical cancer.
For other cancers associated with HPV, they have not yet been established routine population checks.
2. HPV-TEST
3. Colposcopy with or without biopsy
Men today can also easily be checked with HPV-Test at a clinic
