Women today live almost half their life in menopause. Is it allowable to ignore this when we can enhance the quality of their life?<\/p><\/blockquote>[\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row heading_color=”primary-1″ padding_top_multiplier=”4x” font_color=”#3d3d3d”][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

The ovaries produce our hormones<\/span>, <\/span>oestrogens and progesterone<\/span>. <\/span>These are the female hormones that control our period and ovulation<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Women have from birth in their ovaries a certain number of eggs<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

During climacterium<\/span>, <\/span>the stage that precedes menopause<\/span>, <\/span>the ovaries do not produce their normal hormones so we have many irregular cycles, sometimes with a lot and other times with very little blood<\/span>, <\/span>frequent or sparse cycles, until menstruating finally stops after <\/span>1-3 <\/span>years<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Until a woman reaches menopause, she goes through a gradual change and it rarely occurs suddenly.<\/span><\/h3>[vc_column_text]Usually menopause is a normal condition during which the body stops producing the hormones needed for ovulation on one hand and for menstruation on the other. In most cases, women enter menopause between the ages of 47-50.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text]
<\/div>

When menopause occurs before the age of 40, either naturally or due to any other cause, we are dealing with premature menopause.<\/span><\/h3>[vc_column_text]Some women can enter quite abruptly into menopause, due to unnatural causes.<\/p>\n

This can be due to surgical removal of the uterus or ovaries, or a suppression of the ovarian function with the use of drugs, such as for chemotherapy.<\/p>\n

Premature menopause is a cause for many serious and threatening diseases for women such as cardiovascular diseases, osteoporosis and many others. Therefore, its treatment is necessary.[\/vc_column_text]

However, every issue has its solution.<\/span><\/h3>[vc_column_text]As a female gynaecologist, I try to propose the best treatment of the symptoms of climacterium initially, and of menopause afterwards.<\/p>\n

Based on each woman’s history, to avoid the effects of hormone shortage to her health.<\/strong><\/p>\n
